I stayed here for with family. The room was very clean and well organized, the courtyard was peaceful (it had swing chairs, a fire place, a water fountain and good music). The staff was amazing and super helpful/polite. We ended up having to change plans last minute and management was super responsive and easy to work with.

Very nice, new, clean rooms. Everything feels very safe, and there’s a cute courtyard in the middle. What a lovely place - and the breakfast is amazing for such a small hotel (we just expected coffee and a muffin). People that are complaining about breakfast in the reviews maybe missed half of the buffet - there’s different yoghurts, different oatmeals, a lot of fruit, high quality and very diverse selection of pastries, freshly brewed coffee, toast, bread. Nice people at the reception. Parking is suite easy in the surrounding streets. We’re really happy we chose this hotel for a very reasonable price. The rooms and bed are on the small side, but very manageable. They do have black-out blinds (I saw somewhere in the reviews they did not), you have to look for the right button on the touchpad.

If you’re looking for an unforgettable stay, THIS is the place! From the moment you walk in, it’s spotless—like next-level clean. The open glass showers? Game changer. You can literally shower while your spouse watches from the room—it’s sleek, modern, and kind of fun! The location is perfect—right in the heart of everything, so you’re never far from the action. Want to stay active? They’ve got free bike rentals ready to go. Hungry? Free breakfast every morning. Thirsty? Grab some complimentary water from their always-stocked cooler. This place thought of everything. Seriously, don’t even think twice—just book it.

It’s very nice, there just isn’t a lot to work with for breakfast if you are celiac. Some yogurt cups that’s about it. But the bed is very comfortable, staff is friendly, love the fire pit outside and modular light / shade / temp controls in the rooms.

I loved staying at Mayumi! Such a good location and so easy to get to and from the airport using public transit. The rooms were clean and the bed was super comfortable. Most importantly, the people that work there are absolute gems!! The nicest people ever and made me feel so welcome. I loved staying here and know where I’ll stay moving forward :)

Overall, I really love this place. I’ve stayed here now on four separate trips. The check-in and check out was easy for me. All the staff are super friendly and are there 24/7. The hotel itself has a very chic vibe to it. Everything’s very crisp and clean which is something I value highly and why I will not stay at the Hyatt. Everywhere in the hotel is set up so you can sit down wherever, enjoy a book or scroll through your phone, and meet new people. The location is not in a huge metropolitan area, but conveniently it’s located right next to a grocery store for quick meals. The highway (405) is about a 5 minute drive. You can get to Venice beach and Santa Monica in a car in 10-15 minutes. The breakfast is yogurt, pastries, oatmeal, Toast and coffee. The surrounding neighborhood looks nice too. Two sides of the place face the street the other sides face an alley. Only thing that gets a little hard is the parking, but there’s a street parking you just have to be aware to move your car on Fridays. The room designs are efficient and sleek. I haven’t used the WiFi much since my work office is down the street but it’s been good to me so far. They accept service animals. No non-service animals.

The Mayumi is a great, no frills hotel situated no more than 20 mins away from most of the attractions on the west side of LA. Easy commute by uber to SoFi/Intuit/Forum. The hotel is clean and simple — front desk staff are kind and helpful, check in was a breeze, and one of the best parts of this hotel is that it is independent and all of the rooms are the same. They don’t try to sell you anything or force you to join some kind of scammy rewards program to access the internet. There is a nice courtyard with a fire pit, BBQs, a few cruiser bikes. Free continental breakfast in the mornings and a nice happy hour in the evenings, every day. Also free and plentiful bottled water in the communal fridge. The price point for this hotel is quite affordable, especially compared to other hotels in the area. Street parking is also easy and free in the area. Downsides: rooms are small (all the same size), totally fine for one person, tight for two. WiFi is also quite slow and spotty in the rooms. Room 216 had absolutely no functional wifi. Not a problem for me, but be warned. Overall I’d say this hotel is significantly better than most nearby 4-star hotels. Would happily stay again. Easy and quick commute to and from Intuit/SoFi.

Great value. Boutique-style hotel with unique offerings including wine hour, rental bikes, fire pit and a common lounge area. Front desk staff were very friendly. WiFi was spotty in the rooms. Although it wasn’t a “luxury” experience, it had all the essentials for a quick weekend stay. The location was central to all our plans in LA. Also close to the airport. We stayed in December 2025, checked in on a Saturday and left Monday morning. We had no issues finding street parking - coming back to the hotel past 8pm on both nights.
